This solo ride took place at the end of June 2007. I'd always wanted to attend the Red Rock Rendezvous rally in Panguitch, UT and now that I'm retired, I had the time to do it. I took a less than straight route there, detouring through the Tall Grass Prairie in Kansas and Stockton, KS. Once in Colorado and Utah, I wandered a lot. The return trip was pretty much straight back via I-70, I-26, and I-80 to Hwy. 30 (The Lincoln Highway) in Iowa. I capped the trip with a stop in Anamosa to visit the National Motorcycle Museum, and I got service done on the bike at Gina's BMW. The trip journal is at
