This is the wire bundle coming out of Rob's "basement." - Marilyn's Photos

The first 41 photos were taken on the Saturday before the Iron Butt Rally began. Riders were going through tech inspection and check-in. I'll be adding more photos as the rally progresses: at the start on Monday, the check point on August 24, and the finish and banquet on August 31.

Marilyn > Rob Nye's R1200RTP. The black box on the back just above the extra gas tank contains "the basement," which holds the electronic controls. I saw "the basement" but Rob wouldn't let me photograph it. The black blob in front of the jug is storage, made by a tarp maker Rob knows. It's attached to the crash bar.

Marilyn > A close up of the extra storage on Rob's bike. There's another one on the other side. I wonder if they block cooling air from the jugs?
